The beginning is half of the whole

Little did I know, that this saying from Pythagoras -one of the greatest greek philosophers ever lived- would perfectly apply after 2500 years, to my decision about opening my newborn blog to the public.

I have so many ideas, personal experiences, questions, answers, fears, thoughts, challenges, quizzes and so forth to share with you, that it was really hard to decide, how to prepare the whole setting, before switching on the lights, rolling out the red carpet and opening the door for you.

I still have many unanswered questions related to the writing style that I will be applying, the language that I will be using or the frequency of the posts.

After a few days of arguing and contradicting with my own self, it looked as if the inauguration of my blog would have to be postponed for almost ever.

Then I remembered another saying that goes like that:

“- How can you eat an elephant?

– One bite at a time .”

So how do you build and maintain a blog? One post at a time!!

That thought made me decide that I’d better start now and let time decide about my writing style, language and frequency.

Currently I am more inclined towards a humorous approach of things using mainly english and secondarily greek. But it will be you, the visitors, readers, followers and contributors, through your comments, opinions and requests that will sculpture the character of this blog.

I hope that some of you will find something useful, funny or practical in this blog and I welcome you all on board, to this journey to the unknown.

I hope that you enjoy the ride!

    1. If you ask me, I would prefer Greek since it is my native language and I can express myself 100%. On the other hand I am not thaaaat bad in English so I guess that I will be able to convey any message that I have. The bottom line is that I will be using both languages depending on the context.. Thanks for the comment! 🙂
